The venue has fairly quiet rooms and good location close to the train station. Great staff, keep it up. I enjoyed the place.

It had a dishwasher, a refrigerator and a microwave oven to use. Having kitchen was an advantage. Location was unbeatable and stunning, 10 minutes' drive from a small shingle beach. I appreciated all the staff, they were great and responsive.

Our stay at Smugglers Retreat was incredible value for money, with a spacious and beautifully decorated room. The location right next to the beach was perfect, and the staff treated us with exceptional hospitality.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast offerings better would be a wider variety of options.

It was a very lovely stay at Hastings. It had a marvellous and stunning setting near to the sea, the pier and the caves. The view was fantastic, and we were located right across from the beach.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at The Smugglers Retreat. The apartment was beautifully decorated with plenty of space for two people. The water pressure was excellent and it was remarkably quiet. The balcony offered breathtaking sea views and was the perfect spot to relax. The rooms were spacious and airy with unique and charming decor. We loved every part of our stay and would gladly return for another weekend break.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with beautiful sea views right from the living room windows. It is conveniently situated right next to the beach, allowing easy access for enjoyable walks and relaxation by the water. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a homely atmosphere. the hotel offers a wide range of amenities, such as fully equipped kitchens, coffee machines, and a selection of toiletries in the bathroom.
The shower in the hotel can be a bit challenging to use, as it is difficult to adjust the temperature and prevent flooding the bathroom floor.

We had an excellent stay in Hastings just next door to old town, the pier and the old town and the caves. We greatly enjoyed the venue and its amazing setting. It was located right across from the beach.
